We try to minimize our impact on the planet. We are proud to say that we only work with the highest quality sustainable UPF50+ fabrics that guarantee a long lifespan for our products. Our fabrics offer a perfect fit and shape retention, so you can enjoy your favorite Beach & Bandits item for years to come. We believe that having a good and unique product that will last a long time is better than having much cheaper items that end up in the ocean.

We work closely with our manufacturers in China and Turkey. We have built long-term relationships with our manufacturers and we make regular visits to ensure our ethical standards are adhered to.

Our UPF50+ swimwear is produced in limited quantities, with attention paid to every little detail. Instead of throwing away our leftover fabrics, we create accessories, like our cool scrunchies and beach socks, to reduce waste.

All our fabrics are printed or dyed in Oeko-Tex® certified factories, which guarantees that no toxic or harmful chemicals have been used in the production of our garments.

The cotton we use for our ponchos is 100% organic, GOTS-certified cotton and is grown in an environmentally friendly and ethical manner. Only pure cotton plants are used, free of synthetic pesticides or other substances harmful to people and the environment.

All products are packaged in biodegradable and compostable materials. Approved by TUV Austria.

We want to increase our use of recycled materials even more in the future to ensure that our footprint is as low as possible. And we also like to give something back! In recent years we have donated more than €12,000 to the Plastic Soup Foundation, whose mission is to tackle plastic pollution. read more
